I pad help

Any geeks please help. Just got an iPad, there great and all that but there is a few issues with it, the screen randomly shakes like feck and u can't stop it without putting it to sleep and back on. Apps stop working after a few minutes to and go to the home page. I took it to apple today and he reset it to factory setting or whatever but same thing is happening. Is it a goner after only one week?

I work in the Apple Shop in L1 and I think we have a few customers with this problem. Do the Apps quickly flash with a black screen before going to the home page?

You need to take it back, unlike crappy Fandroid devices the cool people at Apple will give you the best customer service ever and simply replace it for you

Book an appointment online through the Genius bar first though, you can't just turn up, and voila within ten minutes you'll be out of the store with a brand new one

Should have bought an android tablet mate. Take it back and demand a refund. Typical apple this.

Not really mate I wil just be browsing and the screen will go mental then stop and start until I turn off and back on. Play games for a few minutes and it will just go to home page. Now the shop near me is cloud something or other shop. Can they replace the iPad for me without sending it away which they suggested doing next as I really don't think it's acceptable to be iPad less for a few days when the iPad is a week old and faulty already?

Sounds like you should get it in for replacement. Even Apple products are not infallible and subject to faults.

Correct! It's actually incredible how they've built up their image so much that people genuinely believe 'Macs can't break' 'it's impossible to get a virus'

Be prepared for your browser to start crashing repeatedly for no reason. As soon as I can I'm dumping my iPad.

Ah, I know what it is then.

What's happened is that iPads are now being manufactured in India rather than China and this has caused problems. Apparently one of the components in the new batch are faulty as they've been supplied from an Indian company now rather than made from within.

There's a simple solution, really. All you need to do is apply sawdust.

In all seriousness will they swap my iPad in this shop or will I need to drive to a proper apple shop?
