It has been ace, as an Englishman, (all be it with a Welsh Gran), over the last year or so to be a Brit.. We love our rivalries in the 6 nations, footie, etc, but when we pull together, like with the Olympics last year, the Lions, and now Andy Murray, it makes me so grateful that our little clumps of granite in the Atlantic are just so ace.

What else is ace about being a Brit?

And how do our overseas mates view it all?

I'm english but I have absolutely no qualms about basking in Murray's glory and I make no apologies for him going back to being a scottish tit if he lost.
