Exciting stuff though mate, I'd try to look at it as a positive. You haven't lost anything, the fella who brought you up is still your dad.
But now you could have the chance to build relationships with new family members. Some of them might be ace. Worse case scenario you just shake this fella's hand and carry on with your life.

Hey mate, sorry to hear this news, if this happened to me would be devastated. Just really think carefully about your next steps with your long term dad/step dad. You say he has been a great dad but now saying you thought he was, I understand your opinion may have shifted considering the bombshell you have heard however your parents may have ad your best intentions at heart and doing what they thought was right for you. Yes they made the wrong decision not to tell you but they made a decision and they thought it was the right one. Also your dad/stepdad has brought you up knowing he was not your dad yet still done a great job and obviously I don't know him but that seems to say a lot about what type of man he is, a good one. Remember mate anyone can have a kid but it takes a real man to be a dad and that is what he Has been over the years.. Don't just blame your parents for this, your real father could also have told you a lot sooner to. Hope everything works out. Ps always keep talking and don't bottle things up, that's when life gets hard.
