Woke up to this awful news. Can only imagine what the parents are going through. It seems like a school trip with the whole school going on the ferry.

Horrible news.

Nah no chance; it's to the south of South Korea... North Korean vessels don't go out there, it's not in their water.

It is unlikely to be the North as the accident happened hundreds of miles from the Northern waters. They had been in the ferry for a good 8 hours or so traveling away from the North.

Horrific accident, and their families just waiting for the inevitable.

300 still 'unaccounted for', ship 95% submerged, and has been over 15 hours since it went down.

Mass deaths here, heartbreaking.

Puts in to perspective Everton 2-3 Palace....... Football means absolutely nothin compared to such sadness and despair.

Very unlikely in that part of the ocean mate, but does appear strange. I am sure it'll all come to light in the coming days.
