Big name sports channel ESPN had a long feature about Howard that started with his childhood and went onto him saving the PKs in the FA Cup Semi's. It was an amazing piece, and even had an short interview with Moyes. What was even better is they gave a short look into Everton and the fans. It honestly gave me goosebumps the entire time. I never thought ESPN would give that much coverage to anything football, let alone it be Everton and an Everton player. If I can find a video I'll post it right away.

I caught just the tail end of it - excellent piece of video. Another expample how Everton's profile is on the rise in the US. Some nice little quips from David Moyes. Truly refreshing to see the EPL on ESPN and not have it be about any of the usuals.

It was shown as part of ESPN's "Outside the Lines" - might be rerun on Sportscenter again this morning.
 

It always makes me smile when people describe Liverpool as gritty . To me its a warm , friendly , accepting city that has never done me wrong .
