What a day...... Infact, apart from a narrow defeat to Arsenal early in Oct it was a great month.

To win at Anfield, travel away to Bratislava midweek and then steamroller UTD on the Saturday was dreamlike.

As you say, we felt incredible.

I remember doing my paper round in the morning and reading about the game. Only time in my life Everton felt untouchable (although always had butterflies playing the world's greatest squatters) and never ever would have thought it possible that Man City, Chelsea and Spurs would be one day perceived as bigger clubs.
