How would Moyes leaving affect your support ?

What would your reaction be if this Lescott saga caused Moyes to quit ?

Sorry for this hypothetical thread , but as much as we dismiss his departure , it really is something that actually could happen .

How would it affect you and your support of the club ?

Would you be able to carry on supporting the club regardless in the belief that managers come and go , or would you be so angry , that you would feel forced to express your disgust in one form or another ?

I'll add a poll for those members who couldn't bare to even contemplate the subject .

Cant not support the blues mate. At the end of the day he's just a manager and like players they come and go. I've supported Everton long before Moyes turned up and I'll support them long after he's gone.

No one is bigger than the club. Hope it will be many years, before this happens, but if he decided to leave tomorrow, I'd be terrible upset, but manage to grow over it eventually. Will support Everton untill my dying day, no manager or player leaving, will ever change that.

No one is bigger than this club, NO ONE!!!

we coped when Rooney left, We coped when Alan Ball was sold, we'll cope when Moyes walks out on us.

David Moyes and his players are the only reason I still attend matches, If Moyes left, a lot of his players would be soon after. I couldnt bear the Club without Moyes, Kenwrong without Moyes makes me puke.

I appreciate the job Moyes has done here, but No manager is bigger than any club. The club will be there long after any manager.
I would support this club even if it went into Non League. Anyone who says they would stop supporting us if a manger left, was not a true fan to begin with.

I dont support David Moyes, I support Everton mate.

No one person is bigger than the club.

Seconded. I was a Evertonian long before Moyes was even thought off and I hope I am long after his departure should that ever happen.

I will stay Moyes has been a breath of fresh air for this club and has steadily brought us back to be a competitive team week in and week out.

I would continue to support Everton , but I have to say this would be the biggest blow I will have experienced in my life time of supporting Everton .
At the moment , I can't really imagine an Everton without David Moyes . I don't agree with everything he does , but he is the epitome of everything likeable about our club , and I would honestly support him before any single player or board member .

One day there will be a statue of David Moyes outside a football ground , and I hope he is here long enough for it to be us .

Top post!(y)

I'd stop supporting Everton and support the RS instead. I'd throw away all of my blue clothes, all of my blue bedding, curtains, re-paint my walls red, buy a red car and finally get 'You'll Never Walk Alone' tattood across my chest.

I wouldn't really, but such a ridiculous question deserves an equally ridiculous answer.

You don't choose Everton. Everton chooses you.

Moyes isn't walking because of Lescott. He's made his point and proven his principle. He's got an easy out now - Lescott himself. Most Everton supporters would now be happy to see him go when it was the opposite three weeks ago. Lescott put in his transfer request and is getting benched for being impetulant and a drag on the club. Easy to cut bait now.

Moyes will leave for another opportunity not because of a twit like Lescott.

# 3508 out.
