How well do you think a national team would fair in a league?

Just wondering, i know it would never happen. But lets say some ultra-rich guy wanted to simply win whatever league he bought a club in with a(ny) national side and signed essentially an entire nations national team to play for his side.

Realistically how well do you think a team comprised of a single nationality could do? And at what point/nation would a team not even be the best team in that league possibly? Would a team of nothing but Belgians win La Liga? What about a team of nothing but Swedish players, would they win the Italian League?

That's kinda my question. In which league does a 'good' national team not beat a decent league? Ivory coast win the French league?

It's kind of been done in that Dynamo Kiev used to be the USSR side.

The national team coaches thought it was better to pick the best team in the league rather than the 11 best players. So basically the soviet team would win the soviet league. But that was back when only soviet players played in that league so obviously they would.

Multi national leagues make it a lot harder.
