How quiet can Goodison get?

Noticed at the game today there was hardly any enthusiasm or encouragement let alone singing.
All the usual away chants, is this a library?etc etc. Then when you watch us on MOTD you can hear it's the quietest ground in the country right now.
So just how quiet will it get before somebody complains about the lack of noise or will it ever change?

To be fair mate, the atmosphere has been awful for a number of years and in the later days of Martinez and Koeman - toxic.

It never used to be like this even when we had worse teams in the 90s, our support was always vocal. There isn't even any banter with the away fans anymore. Shame to see Goodison,s days dying on its feet.

The Old Lady always use to be one of the best atmospheres bar none,you could ask most visiting fans and players and they never use to like the hostile environment we use to provide, But now as horrible as it is we the fans are being subjected to some of the worst performances our great club has put upon us. The football is slow, boring and predictable, the atmosphere non-existent unless were away, the gulf from fans to players is as far wide as I've ever known it,simply there needs to be massive changes at our great football club and we need to as much as I hate to say it move with the times and be a business like the majority of clubs are now.

Did you actually watch the game today, any this season of any for the last twenty plus years at this stage? Yeah Goodison is toilet in terms of atmosphere. Well done to the club, they've finally ground down one of the most long suffering fanbases in the world. We've got no hope and nobody gives a crap. Big shock, after over twenty years of having absolutely no hope we been beaten and respond to mediocrity on the pitch with mediocrity in the stands! As a fanbase our fans go to games with no optimism or desire to get behind the team is far more then the desire we get from the rats playing.
