Player Valuation: £100m
With Lukaku experiencing a niggle last night, and Barkley also having to leave the field for an injury, how much of a priority would you place on the 2nd leg against City? Would you rest players in the league to ensure we give the 2nd leg our best shot or is the league still the priority?

So how would that manifest itself in reality? Presumably we can rest one or two for Dagenham at the weekend, but we've then got away fixtures at Man City and Chelsea, and a home game against Swansea before the 2nd leg.

What sort of teams would you put out in those four games if the 2nd leg is our immediate priority?

maybe rest a couple for swansea game

Do you think we could beat the shyte at Wembley,I for one don't,it's just our luck that their waiting to rub our noses in it yet again, when we're so close to silverware, that's Everton that

The Cup tie on Saturday and the second leg at City are the 'priority'. Even if we rest players next week against City in the league doesn't mean we wont give them a game, the same goes for Chelsea away. We have Jags needing match fitness and Baines is getting better with every game. Lennon and Mirallas chomping at the bit. Midfield is the 'worry' at the moment. We may see Ossie in there to play alongside Besic, could also move Baines into a midfield 3, and play Galloway at left back. Kone to start up top on Saturday.

I think all decisions between now and the return leg will be based on that game.

Edit. Forgot about Gibson coming into midfield.

Rest almost all the first team starters against D&R. I dont give a monkeys about the games against Chelsea or City. Pile all we have into the SF 2nd Leg.

You still play our strongest sides just take no risks, if someone has a niggle don't play them, someones getting tired, rest them. No need for wholesale changes

Got to make it hostile for them on and off the pitch, no more friendly derby bollox or allowing it to be morphed into yet another Hillsborough occasion. We've fallen for that numerous times and not competed.
