As stated, how much money do you spend on football in a season? I know following football in England is quite an expensive hobby. Everything counted up together, how much do you all reckon you spend in a season.
Mine:
About 4 times a season, watching matches in England (Everton and others)
2000-2200 GBP
Subscribing to the Everton Matchday Programme
100 GBP
Football Merchandise
100-150 GBP
Season ticket at my home town club, Fortuna Sittard and parking ticket under the Stadium
150 GBP
Food & beer consumed at home matches per season
300-350 GBP
Fortuna Sittard away matches (tickets, travelling plus beer & foods consumed)
750-800 GBP (17 matches)
Subscribtion for digital decoder in order to watch all Everton and other European matches (plus a few internet subscriptions)
300 GBP
So, that's close to 4000 GBP a season. And I'm sure, I've overlooked a few things also. Quite a lot of money when you look at it, especially seeing the garbage I'm served up with, on a weekly basis, watching Fortuna.
Still, wouldn't have it any other way. Couldn't live without footy myself.
