How much do teams get if a Game is televised

We were on Telly 9 times in 2011/12 and we got a total of 49 million. So about 500,000 a match.

We have been on Telly (prem) 9 times so far this season alone. So I think we may get significantly more this year. Possibly 5-8 million more.

WHERES THE EXTRA TV MONEY BILL?

Its over at Anfield as they are on all the time!

The 2:05 thing is probably an ESPN/American thing, they do that sort of thing all the time with American sports, starting times at 7:07 or 1:35 presumable so they can stuff the first odd minutes with adverts. They probably wanted to have something like 2:12 but this was the worst they could get away with.

This is almost definitely the case. Most American sports (which ESPN is much more experienced with) have much more fluid start/end times. For example, if one NBA game goes to overtime, they may delay the start of the next televised one until the first ends. It's all built around getting the entirety of each game on TV. It's just different from football, where every 3pm game will usually start exactly at 3pm and end within a minute or two of each other.
