How many sexual partners have you had?

Always reading these stories on the "average" number of partners men and woman have in their lifetime...so here is the scientific GOT survey, which can only add to the scholarship on this subject. I've generally seen that the average for a man is 7-9 over the course of a lifetime for a man, and 4-5 for a woman. I find both those numbers to be low but then...well you know. So I'm putting a poll up, and of course feel free to share your thoughts in the thread.

If 'sexual partners' means regular sex then one, if it means random 'one night stands' then four.

I don't believe them stats one bit. The average in my group of mates is at least 5 and we're all 17/18.

And I'm glad I'm not the only one who finds those numbers a bit low. Nothing to do with me personally.

Honestly. I think it's the quality rather than the quantity that makes you stand out, mate. If you're not selective, it's not difficult to get laid. Admittedly, it's even easier for me then for straight men because we have a whole sub-culture worked around cheap dirty sex but still, I think most people's limiting factor is pickiness rather than lack of opportunity.

I agree actually. When you take my numbers and divide by the years, it's actually not that impressive. I've gone long stretches without, because I have pretty high standards.
