If Lukaku was 26 years old people would be less likely to want to sign him. The reason people want him is that they expect him to get better, I don't think this is the case, he is physically mature now. Its his touch and work rate I have issues with.

It just reminds me of when George Burley said Kenwynne Jones was another Drogba in the making at 22... He just never improved technically.

Not really mate and comparing Jones with Lukaku is a bit laughable, comparing what Burley said with what Martinez says is pretty daft too like.

Jones was labelled that by Burley when he was 22 before he had actually played in the premiership and had been playing championship and league one footy (22 goals in 84 games at championship level), Lukaku at 2 years younger has scored 32 goals in the prem in 65 games

Decent level backup, needs to learn how to catch a ball though else he will continue to give the defence the wobbles when he plays

I guess we will have multiple lists drawn up dependant on no1 targets.

Lukaku signs = list A

list A will feature players running contracts down or free

Lukaku goes elsewhere = list B

10 mil signing plus striker, possibke expensive play maker and similar to list A but with a bit more maneuverability on price.

Reckon thats not too far from the truth tbh mate
