Born in December 73, so have just found out Billy Bingham was in charge then. Howard Kendall (1st spell) was when I really started following. I make that 11 if I count all the Kendall spells.

CAREY was before the Cat, so I was born an Evertonian - evidently he had us playing lovely football towards the end of his management fetched Bobby Collins to us who I never seen but belive was a fantastic little player only wore size 5 football boots.Sold him to Leeds what a player then coach for them he became!!!!!
The Cat like Bally sold him far to early, but the Cat produced two great title winning teams teams
Saw my first game (reserves) in the last year of Carey's tenure.......taxi!.My first real game was a 5-0 thrashing of Blackpool in 63 so the Cat was my first managerial hero.Although I can still remember the sense of shock when he sold Ball.....and later on bought Rodrick Michael Belfitt

Carey's tenure was iffy but as a young kid my Dad & my older brother recon the attacking football was very good - like I say He bought Bobby Collins & the golden Vision to the club!
