i really am glad we didn't sign him, let someone else splash the wonga and then lend him to us for a season and a half.

could citeh drag him back if they wanted to ? just wondering as they could do it out of spite for not getting joleon.
 
I guess it depends if they have a recall clause in the loan deal. I'm sure they don't though, it's not like they're struggling for strikers. I doubt he'll be able to play against City though.
 
What I don't get... they pay through the nose for average players as nobody really wants to play for them. And they have the audacity to think clubs should bend over when they make offers for very good players.

I wouldn't have a big problem with selling Young to United if he wanted to move on for say £ 30 + Mill. But if City was knocking I'd tell them to double it for **** off.

Just a thought.

Reckon they give us Jo on loan as a 'show of good faith' so we would accept a bid for a certain someone from our team? A little sweetner perhaps?
