He actually has said he can play there pretty proficiently. I, for some reason, remember him playing in that position for us at least once....maybe just once actually. Thought he was fine. Better at LB but serviceable at RB.

It's not that Coleman..or Baines are playing poorly , it's just the manager has modified our formation.
At the start of the season we practically had no full backs only wingers pretending to be full backs. A lot of the
goals we were leaking were because of this cavalier attitude.
Our full backs now concentrate more on defending and less on attack.
I think if one goes forward the other hangs back.

Our formation last night wasn't designed for either of our fullbacks to get forward much, they needed to provide cover for the young and inexperienced CM pairing of Besic and Barkley.
But both seemed better imo than their recent games, hopefully the rest has done them good.
