deffo oz for the hottest, twas 44 or somethin' when i was working at the end of the runway in sydney, we were pouring buckets over ourselves, it felt just as hot when fruit picking in queensland as well.
i would imagine that greece has gotten close to that at times as well, was in athens 1 time and folks was dying in the heat.

coldest was probably when we got back to holland after crimbo and the display at the airport was on about -20, although it was that when in the alps once and i had to drop the salopettes for a slash.

Pretty fecking hot...it was 44.2 on New Years Day '06 here

And not too cold really...so cold it was snowing but thats it...

Nothing extreme for me, 30 degrees down to about -8 or -10. Hoping to spend January 2012 in Yakutsk, where it's often down around -45 (-40 right now, just checked). It'll depend on money and whatnot though (like everything else in this world!)

I'm not one for hot weather, even a sunny day here in Ireland can be a bit much for me :P

Went to Mt Isa (QLD) for a weekend and it hit 44 degrees C. Not been above 40 here in Brisneyland yet.
When I lived in Aberdeen it hit -20 with wind chill (apparently) a few times.

I have been in 120 deg F in Arizona and managed a nice brisk -20 deg F in Alaska.

(that is 48 deg C and -29 deg C for you euro types)

There was a cold spell in Morgantown back when I was in school in which it was -15 to -25F (-35 to -40C) for a week.

Hottest was around 108F (40C)
