I'm gonna watch it. I'm just so curious now dammit!

I wouldn't if I were you. Or at least watch it with friends so you can all have a nervous giggle about it.

Human Centipede 2 is your next challenge. Probably on a par of disturbing-ness if not quite as graphic (close though).

Centipede
Funny games
Martyrs
Driller Killer

The original Funny Games was brilliant and disturbing. The randomness and cold way they kill is unnerving. Then when they casually turn to the screen and start chatting to you - it kind of makes you feel like you're involved.

But Driller Killer? Unless you watched it when you were about 9, it's just silly - I enjoyed it though, in a way.

One that freaked me out was Wolf Creek. I clearly have a problem with random, realistic-type killings.

The recent trend of titilating torture flicks just bore me.

Yeah, I was recounting the original french version of FG. Alien is a classic haunted house horror. Driller is weird, a more abstract TCM (original).
Our 'magnificent seventh' DVD is a multilayered horror in its own right ten times over.
The 'Evil Dead' trilogy is more comedy than horror (II is superb fun), Goldblum deserved the Oscar for 'the fly', Kermode says Horror and Comedy are bedfellows, which explains American Werewolf, 'Ring' (original jap version) was awesome, I havn't seen the original 'last house on the left' yet, and I like how Nicholson is consumed by the Hotel (illustrated by being in the B&W picture) in 'the Shining'.
Havn't seen Elephant or that film that was played in reverse made a few years ago depicting a rape and some other stuff.
Attitudes in 'bowling for columbine' were genuinly horrifying.
