Couldn't agree more OP. Never wanted a season to end as much as this one and never wanted to be disassociated with a Manager as much as i do this one. It is just a real pity that we are stained for life now. Can already imagine how it will be written in the history books. Everton were in tremendous peril and Big Sam came to the rescue, put the fires out, steadied the ship, pulled them all together, finished in the top 10 and kept his head held high despite being continually unfairly disrespected by the clubs supporters. Like it or not, that is how it will be written. His PR machine and pundits have already ensured that.

A sorry season that has basically stained us for life. Just glad that we can finally say goodbye, try and regroup and rebuild this summer.
