I agree with you on the marketing, but when I ran a particular thread, apart from kits in shops, the other most asked question was when are we getting rid of LCS. Yes & Nike seem to be trading on their name, but that's more a perception.

Frankly - bring back LCS!
We had the black away with the pink pinstripes, the Pink away with the navy bits, the tremendous vanilla 3rd shirt, the home kit with the gold bits last year....
Nike - a plain black away shirt (how clever and original) and this bizzare 'Birmingham/arsenal in blue' lookalike thing.

I don't remember anyone wanting to get rid of LCS. I thought they did excellent kits (apart from the pink) and they had that history to them with them being our supplier in 85.
I'm not bothered about who the manufacturer is, it could be Hi-Tec or Gola for all I care, I stopped buyin kits when I was 12, what annoys me is the way Everton have accepted Nike's laziness giving us a generic kit and making us wait and not capitalising on marketing, especially for a club that is skint. For me another example of how inept people who work and run Everton are.
