Its gets a tad tiresome at the annual meltfest in summer.

We've made progress the last few years and we probably will this summer. Lets avoid the anxiety attacks and general tittishness that we've had to put up with the past few years only for those most vocal to slip back into the shadows when the team proves them wrong again.

I think it was Sam Allardyce who recalled a conversation from the start of last season when Moyesy told him something like, "******* hell, we're in trouble here, we could be fighting relegation this season, we haven't got any players!". That was when we had quite a few injuries, we hadn't signed anyone and we were conceding three every week.

Providing the board don't **** it up again, which I doubt they will given how mental Moyes went about it last year, I really can't see us not having a strong squad by the start of the season. The main thing is WHO we sign and how good they are. I can't see us signing [Poor language removed] squad fillers to be honest, we're better than that now. Our cheap players should be up and coming young players that we steal from other clubs, like Mustafi. I think we can attract them.

So long as we buy a good/class right winger and another midfielder we will be fine. Moyes will always get a couple of loans and free signings anyway.

I dont see what the fuss is about, we have released 3 players who have done nothing in the past couple of seasons, so they will hardly be missed.

Our starting 11 is solid top 6, we just need the extra quality to break the top 4

its early days...I can't think Kenwright n co will leave it as late as last year. But with europe starting in August , we need to hit the ground running. If it wasn't for our awful start to this season, I reckon we could have made it above the Gooners.

I read somewhere that if the league started in match 11 somewhere we would finish 4:th. But all teams get a bad patch over a season... we just had ours in the beginning. AV and Wigan got theirs at the end so we could pass them.

That's enough rational commentary out of you.
