That should apply to every player were after IMO. Last thing we want is average players or squad men on mega wages. We made those mistakes last time round before the fire sale.

Playing for the likes of Everton over clubs like Fulham and QPR is worth more for the exposure and career development.

Obviously what I mean by that is we shouldn't sign anybody you haven't confirmed while having a richard the third.

Hoilett would be the type of signing David Moyes loves to make,young ,talented and inexpensive(3m is nothing for this kind of player). A player that could improve a lot and still have a big resale value in four years time.
It will of course depend on the other teams interested and what his demands are.
If we could sell Yobo and Anichebe then it is a deal that should be affordable.
