I always thought it looked brilliant fun, sliding around on ice smashing people. Would loved to have played it growing upI'll say it one more time to any scousers sneaking around in here...get on this sport! It's brilliant, playoff time or not. You'll learn how to follow the puck once you know the ins and outs...stick with it.

only one game but that was not a good start
I stopped watching at 5-1. Very ugly. Hopefully just a letdown after the game 7 vs. Flyers. Isles looked much slower than normalonly one game but that was not a good start
I got a shock watching the highlights on DTMTS.com this morning, I'll say that for sure

Honestly, I think it’s bad Edmonton juju. That’s where the Isles dynasty died.Stars gave up 5 in the first to the Avs and still won the series, although they weren’t up against the Lightning.

Rangers fan?Absolute sickener for the Islanders tonight. I loved it.
Rangers fan?
I live in one of the most hockey crazy areas of north america. I grew up with Hasek. The post lockout sabres which were considered a really entertaining team and kind of a template for the game for the next 10 years or so.
And I just can not stand the sport. Not denying the skill it takes, but at the same time. Half of the teams strategies is to just take bad shots, get a bunch of guys in front of the net and hope it takes a weird bounce. Too many accidental goals in that sport, too flukey.
Not taking anything from those of you who enjoy it. Just here for the people who give it a chance and still don't see the appeal.
It's a sport that is really for you and you'll love it. Or you'll just totally be disinterested.
Have to disagree—nothing is worse than a Rangers fanworse: Bolts
