I think Moyes should sign Hitzleburger or Hargreaves, they will be free and hopefully on a pay as you play deal... They would be good back up...

I think it's fair to say that CM isn't our strongest position, though. We're playing very well but there are warning signs about how vulnerable and unprotected our defence has looked at times. Best we fix it before we start losing games, you'd think.

Yeah totally agree. Point was we're not gonna be a stronger team by dropping Neville to rush in hitzleberger. The problem we have in CM is not gonna be solved with a free player outside the transfer window.

Neville is acting as cover for Gibson who once back will improve us. Hitzleberger if signed is just a extra body he's certainly not gonna come in and take the place of Gibson ossie or Neville (rightly so IMO)

CM is not gonna be properly strengthened till jan.

How does cover for a player when he's injured mean that "cover" starting every game even when the player he is "cover" for is fit and playing?

You're right about Hitzlsperger though, if we sign him he will need time to settle in and get used to us, unless of course he is up to coming straight in. If so he should.
