He's got a bit more to go but I've honestly not been that impressed with him for the most part, regardless of his past. Maybe he'll do better alongside Gibson or something and they can form a Gravesen/Carsely thing but I dunno.
 

Not the player we needed today, for me. With all the long balls from the back, his love of a Hollywood pass was irritating as they weren't really coming off. Good ball to Oviedo for the goal but way too many passes given away, first half. I wish we'd just kept it on the deck.

I think he's got better performances in him though.

he's good enough for backup. it's a squad game after all, certainly an improvement on neville,thought he would play a bit deeper though, just as a shield for the defence. The fact most of what we concede is from set piece suggests that maybe we don't need that carsley type player anymore
