Looking back over past seasons and came across this little beauty. The last time we played Liverpool away in the league and then away again immediately after in the FA Cup was back in 1991. We lost the league game 3-1, drew 0-0 in the Cup and then in the replay it was that classic 4-4 game. We then went on to beat them 1-0 in the second replay and Kenny Dalglish walked away. Hopefully Rafael will do the same this team round again lol

Sat Feb 9 1991 Div 1 A Liverpool L 1-3
Sun Feb 17 1991 FAC 5 A Liverpool D 0-0
Wed Feb 20 1991 FAC 5 Rep H Liverpool D 4-4
Sat Feb 23 1991 Div 1 H Sheff Utd L 1 -2
Wed Feb 27 1991 FAC 5 2nd Rep H Liverpool W 1-0

Now I know that this time round it will not go to a second replay, but one can hope for the same outcome.

Im a lot more hopefull then an many about these games, are form is terrfic going into them and they will be tight, it will come down to the rub of the green at the end of the day.

I think we are seriously up for the cup.
