I believe its Saturday . Well , I was in Brussels that day , and I can recall it being 2 weeks after Roterdam , and ours was the 15th , but then , Ive smoked a whole lotta green since then .

Anyway , about time this fukn city put its hand up on this one .

Give a thought to the innocent .

Respect , brothers .

Abbiamo ricordare il trentanove .

NF. Peter Robinson said so. :o:unsure:

On a personal note , as I was in the German Merchant Navy at the time , I travelled about 12 miles that day to kick back with some Mickeys , I was on a turkey , even RS would do . Plus , a couple of me boys were present . Anyway , I DID see Cockneys that day . A few of them , but having it right , THERE WAS ALWAYS COCKNEYS WHEN THEY WENT ABROAD .An' fukn Norwegians an' the whole sorry crew of the murderin' fukas .

Both parties , however , at 6 o'clock when I decided to sack it - I gave away a ticket I'd gotten off the Ship's Agent for free , were mad for it . Weapons , bottles , red hot day , grafters thinking theyre fukn invisible , an' Ities , whom themselves , take no [Poor language removed] .
Accident waiting to happen .

I've uny ever seen 6 minutes of RS when we werren't playing , Forest at Grey Skull , European Cup 79 . Met me mate, an' decided that wasn't it for me . I often wonder about the ticket though . Usually at Anfield Derbies .

I will end on this note , however ,

" It's never your fault . It's never your fault . It's always you , but it's never your fault . "

I Than' Yo' .

The usual shabby, soft version of events. Apparently, it was Juventus this time.

And the club and council finally pulled their fingers out with...erm...a plaque...and...erm...a tree....after 25 ******* years of practically ignoring it:

But then there's a feller like John Welsh, a true Liverpool hero on the day pulling Italian fans out of the rubble, and they say things like this to even up the [Poor language removed] and restore your faith:

“Liverpool as a city should have done more to recognise what happened. But we didn’t. My mind goes back to that day a lot. I’m always thinking ‘could I have saved anybody else?’ Everyone was fighting to get out. I was pretty fit, so I could move around. There’s a photo I’ve seen where I’m right amongst it all. I look at it and think ‘what am I doing there?’
“Heysel will be with me for the rest of my life. Accolades are not my style. I’m just an ordinary fella. I’m not brave. Anybody would have done it. It’s not just May 29 when I think back, it’s all the time. Sometimes I’m driving the bus and the memories come flooding back.”

This has quietly passed the liverpool media by hasn't it? not much noticeable recognition, granted it's a difficult subject, but a tragedy all the same, the adversaries like to force the fact we should put our history behind us and mourn together when it comes to Hillsboro though..

It's a 25 year anniversary. You can imagine the city council and LFC reluctantly recognising that they had to do something.

Mind you, a 2'X4' plaque, a tree plant and ringing the municipal building bells 39 times...they shouldn't have ******* bothered.

Its blert like behaviour like this which only goes to create more anger.

Frankly putting something like that up - gets little sympathy from me - because it glorifies rather than accepts responsibility for what happened. If they want to be blerts and snides they only make themselves look like blerts, not us.

I love those banners. Not what's on them, but the fact that two nobheads are standing at each end of them hoisting it up with bamboo sticks. Imagine it: on your knees threading a 5ft bamboo stick through two ends of a [Poor language removed] banner. Some people....

I love the cryptic nature of their banners, with quotes and all stuff like that.

They think it makes them look dead cool whereas it looks f*cking [Poor language removed].
