Peace in Palestine/Israel is a fairytale. For the Palestinians to stop their struggle the Israelis have to accept being ruled and controlled by Muslims, with the real threat of being slaughtered as a people yet again when some imam on a power trip announces Judgement Day. Just how likely is that scenario after 2000 years of systematic persecution and genocide?

It's not a religion of conquest. If you want to refer to archaic passages out of the Koran to back up the view that it is, then you might as well do the same with the Bible. The chief difference between the followers of these books is that Western Society has culturally developed ahead of the Islamic cultures: traditional feminism (not the rabid modern kind) and individual rights has positively enriched Western Society.

That Western Society is a few points ahead in the development game doesn't mean Muslims want to destroy it, and it doesn't mean Western Society should want to destroy them.

Those that speak loudest are heard most...those voicing for living together in peace just need to speak louder.
