Player Valuation: £70m
A date has been set for the Sat 28th July for an Everton X1 to play a friendly at Edgar Street against Hereford United. The has yet to be confirmed but will update the forum as and when confirmed.

How many friendlies does this put us at for the pre-season. Quite a few by my count.

No transatlantic or continental adventures this year by the looks of it - probably due to the Euro's in part. We have taken some ridiculously small squads overseas in recent years due to lack of numbers and injuries, so without some of our players who haven't even finished their season's yet, probably no point. Plus, I bet some of these overseas tours were to generate income based on who would be playing for us - lack of big names available to play = less dosh for going.

Thought AB posted something about an away match at Malaga. Wasn't confirmed yet, but still out there I think.

I don't think Hereford United would look out of place sandwiched amongst that lot. Ronnie Radford FFS.

Hereford United have confirmed home friendlies against Everton and Birmingham City to take place on July 28th and August 4th respectively.

The Bulls have added Premier League opposition to their friendly plans with the visit of an Everton XI on Saturday July 28th.

Championship side Birmingham City will visit Edgar Street on August 4th - the final Saturday before the Bulls get their Blue Square Bet Premier campaign underway.

Speaking exclusively to the Official Hereford United Website Martin Foyle said: "Gary Peters has done a great job in arranging fixtures, we've got Everton and Birmingham, two excellent games and hopefully a financial boost for the club."
