....BBC quoted £3m for McCarthy, whilst Sky said it was £8.5m. I’ve been out the loop for a few days, so not sure if the actual figure has been released, but with just 12 months left on his contract, we needed to get him off the books.

The Turkish league is bobbins. In the premiere league he wouldn't get anything like the space and time he had for most of his goals.

More money saved in wages for players who haven't played for us.

Is It me or the fee is getting smaller every day? Started at around 16 millions to then 15 millions and a bit...then 14 millions..we are talking now of 12 millions fee...we need to include either some kind of buy back clause, percentage of any profits in the future or at the very least first refusal on the player...

So silva quoted a net spend of 28m last week. Another 12m with the sale of Henry. Is a 16m net spend enough to bridge the gap to the top 6. Attacking wise we look stronger, but not defensively.

The less spent this window and the more players binned the better.

Hopefully Bolasie/ Cuco et al will be gone overseas.

Next summer we shift Schneiderlin and Walcott and whatever dross remains...

It's 13.5m euros with 1.5m euros in bonuses

Hasn't changed - just whether people are reporting in pounds or euros and whether they're including the add-ons or not

Shame we never got to see him pull on the shirt so only time will tell what we have missed out on. £12 mill + sounds good business though.
