Henry Onyekuru

Fantastic finish.

A year loan at Galatasaray is ideal for both him and us. Walcott is 29 and a seasoned premier league player.

By next season Richarlison will have had a season here and Theo will be 30. Ideal time to gradually introduce him.

Also Onyekuru appears to be a winger who goes central looking for space and goals. With Richarlison and Bernard plus hopefully Lookman too that is an excellent goal threat.
Surely we're better having him here than Big bad Dom
Have to get the work permit sorted. This kid has it. Better option off the bench than DCL, Henry actually scores goals.
Comments like these annoy me, the lad looks decent, hes scored goals in some half decent leagues, we have a decent prospect, if he stays injury free and keeps scoring goals you would assume he might possibly get a work permit next season, we can then take a look at the boy and judge then if hes able to do it in this league.

It doesnt have to be him or DCL, its not DCLs fault hes here and Henry isnt.

Every manager we have had has given DCL considerable game time, sure the lads a bit raw, but they must see enough talent to keep picking him, so lets wait and see what the season brings for DCL and then in about 5 or 6 years we can judge which 1 of them is the better player.
Would this lad even play for us if we had him now? I'm struggling to see how we would use him when we have Niasse DLC Richarlison Walcott.

A few odd messages here...Onyekuru is a left forward just like Richarlison.

Richarlison can play centre.

Ideally you want a front 3 who are not confined to one side / position. Harder to mark and track when fluid and disciplined.
Honestly I see Onyekuru having the ability to play through the middle more than Richarlison but either way they both could possibly be tested there. If it doesn't work we have potentially multiple good left wings which isn't a bad problem

This will be the second year that he's played in the biggest club competition in the world, having played for the 2 top teams in 2 different leagues. Surely even if he doesnt get called up for Nigeria, that should be enough.

Edit: Nigeria have a African Nations cup qualifier in around 2 weeks so hopefully he will get his first cap.

he already capped for the national team he have played 2 senior matches

He will never play at Goodson, he will join the long list of young players we buy, loan out and never get a chance.

What list? Are you talking about the kids from the youth academy who go on loan to morecambe and Fleetwood?

He's been on loan at two champions league teams so hardly comparable.
