i dont agree with this. the national media rarely aknowledge Everton exist so outsiders only see the man u/l`pool hype. jealousy is a powerful emotion and any team winning trophys became liverpools `main` rivals purely due to l`pool perceiving themselves to be at the top as `their rightful position`-when notts forest won stuff 30yrs ago they became main rivals but its mainly the media who big up games sort of like `clash of the giants` type stuff and if it goes on for a few years as man u have won everything the hatred/jealousy of united has taken on a life of its own- hence the perception that the manu v LFC rivalry is biggest

Don't agree with this.. Don't think Leeds can really class them as main rivals when your a few divisions down now as well. This ain't the 90's like
