I think clubs dont like doing it in this day and age, too many ppl do it just to make a fast buck on ebay.

I recall 1985, calling round at Gary Shaggy Stevens house, he lived on the Holmlands Estate in Prenton. Just round the corner from my Nans house. An Everton player living with the common people!!! I mean it was a nice Estate back then and to some degree it still is, but you know now they all live in utter posh areas and poor shaggy had a little 3 Bed Semi.

Anyway, there i am 11 years of age knocking on 1 of my idols doors, dreamland doesnt quite cover it. When he opened the door, "ermm hi, erm Mr Stevens, can you sign my football book please", "Sure, no problem, leave it with me for a week and i will get the rest of the team to sign it to!!".

1 week later i called back and there was my Pannini Football Sticker Book 1985 signed by the Entire 1st team Squad. Legendary, ive still got it somewhere, i wasnt gonna ever throw that out and i would never sell it, but do you reckon its worth any money? . I mean i would NEVER EVER sell it, but u know.

Thanks Basil. I had a look. Quite a bit of Everton stuff. Do you think anyone would mind if I air brushed a Palace shirt onto AJ?
I think he might be counting his cash a bit ruefully at the moment?
