I've seen it written today that the 'pen' was punishment for Atletico re the behaviour of their fans. I dont believe a word of it. The corrupt Uefa officials want Liverpool through and in first place in the group so they get an easier touch in the round of 16 and progress to the quarters along with the other clubs who draw global tv audiences. The CL is only usually a fair tournament after that because all those through to the quarters are usually well supported clubs.

Dont confuse frustration with hatred of EFC - or the club owners with Everton FC for that matter.
