Help me justify spending money please...

buy television. Tell the good lady you won it in a raffle in work. When she asks you what the missing 200 notes was for simply reply "the raffle tickets for the tv my darling". sorted.
 

This thread title is a bit misleading ... Thought it was Blue Bill's first post asking for our advice!!
 

Also, if you just go buy it and she kicks off and won't speak to you..........at least you get peace to watch your brand new telly !! win win situation mate.
 
Buy the telly, put it in the room when she is out.

Then order a brass, get her upto said room and when your missus goes into the room in question she will not notice the new telly at all.

I'd personally go with J'dawgs advice, treat her first.

Unless you get the bairn into Wonderpets early.

Google it if you have to, but the basic premise is a duck, a guinea pig and a turtle/terrapin that fly round the world rescuing animals in distress and singing about it.

My personal favourite was the yak, the pig and the dancing bear. Youtube the sh*t out of it.
