Keep hearing good things about this Forren and would cost half of what Johnny will fetch.
Wouldnt be a bad bit of business if we sold Johnny for £8m, bought this Forren for £4m and still had Duffy as cover too. £4m for Butland and Ofoe on loan.
I hate talking about selling players- makes us sound small time but in this case I think it would benefit us to be honest.

That's is how Everton run as long as Kenwright is here. We sell and use the fees to buy.

We'll never get 8 million for Heitinga. His wages are massive, he's approaching 30 and he's out of form.
We'll see. January transfers are always inflated prices, he wont be cup tied for European games and hes still a Dutch international. £7-£8m is my guess.

Don't think there's any chance of getting 8M for Johnny. I would of thought nearer to 5M tbh.
Well we basically accepted 4m in the Summer. So cant see him going for anymore than that myself.

When he is gone, it will be "undisclosed" again. To cover up the fact that we have lose money on him?
Out of form, contract ticking down & big wages all of those factors will impact on the fee we'd get. In all honesty in the summer I don't think we had a clue how much we'd accept so god knows what we'd be looking at if we move on, with everton it's always guesswork unfortunately .

Granted - he doesnt seem arsed at times... Possibly thinks hes bigger than the club and this season has put in some awful performances.
However. The back four looked more composed in possession and kept a good shape throughout yesterdays game.
This is what the Heitinga/Distin partnership brings.
With Jagielka manning the back we are always out of shape because hes dragged all over the show. Also far less comfortable in possession.
There is no way Moyes will let Heitinga go in January without a substancial fee (£5m+) and without a direct replacement.
I feel more comfortable with Heitinga and Distin at centre half
