the healthcare debate is a pretty important one in the U.S., as we're the only industrialized nation not to have socialized medicine. critics often site Canada and Britain as examples of why social medicine doesn't work.
so i just wanted to hear it straight from the horses mouth, is social medicine for your brits as bad as conservative americans claim it is? are the waiting lines that bad, or is would any of you say its a necessary sacrifice for the welfare of the nation?
