Haye v Chisora

went as expected, the only surprise for me was the amount of so called 'experts' thinking chisora had a chance. Haye is different level anyone who knows anything about boxing knows this, or so i thought.

cock fight between 2 cocks that was so stage managed it was unreal. No wonder the British Boxing Board of Control dont want to licence these fools

What round did it finish? It says round 5 in papers and sky sports. All my mates are saying it was 4.

I backed haye to win by ko/tko in round 4 11/1 so keeping my fingers crossed here....

The press conference afterwards where they were all smiles and shook eachothers hand, so cringeworthy. Just showed it was all fake. I'm pissed off because I thought they generally hated eachother and the match was just going to descend into a no holds barred fight to the death.

It was not fake, just exaggerated. You could see in Haye's face the level of focus he had, never seen him like that.

Don't underestimate what a tear up can do, hence why they call them "straighteners"

Of course mate.....how else would they make their money if the didn't get the hype machine running!!

But even after the fight Chisora was smiling and hugging Haye? He'd threatened to shoot him, and then been beaten by him ffs. Thought he would still have been raging.

I have to admit I was taken in by it. I was scrabbling around for tickets at the last min but couldnt be arsed paying 50 quid to sit in the far corner of an upper tier, and equally paying 20 quid to subscribe to a month's worth of box nation when I'm only arsed about the big fights.

That was the exaggeration mate.

They do / did dislike each other. Like I said, a fight blows all that away, always has.

Just seemed like a bit of an anti climax. I don't know how Chisora can be all smiles even straight after the fight after taking a beating from someone he hates. You could say it was just very sporting from the guy, but all the signs before the fight pointed to him just being an absolute mentalist with absiolutely no respect for anything. Then at the press conference you have this fairly normal, humble guy sitting there shaking hands and smiling. Soooo fake.

Do you not think that is better ??

After the last fiasco from the 2 of them, they had to be on best behaviour. They both want big fights in England again, and don't want more bans & fines.

Boxing integrity is taken very seriously by the Purists.
