Have we Been Dithering?

we have added Femi Orengua, Mostafi, Garbutt, Peterlin potentially Jo and naughton and have had a massive bid for Defour knocked back.

There has been no dithering.

While we all want top name brand players brought in I feel for once we are not dragging our heels and making a true push to have a successful summer.

Of course we've been dithering, we always dither. Until players have signed on the dotted line, we have completed no deals. other than an influx of kids and and an untried unheard of american 22yr old, we've signed nobody. Hardly what you'd call "ahead" of the pack are we :dodgy:

It is just not as bad as some forum members have made it out to be. It is not even comparable to last summer

Could be worse - just look at the sides likely to be challenging at our end of the table...

Villa lost Barry and Laursen, haven't added anyone...
Spurs lost Zokora and haven't signed anyone...
Fulham have done nothing...
Utd have replaced Ronaldo & Tevez with Valencia & Owen...
Liverpool have Johnson but look likely to lose at least one of Mascherano & Alonso...

City might look better with Barry, Santa Cruz and Chelsea have done well to sign Zhirkov, but other than the newly promoted sides & Blackburn, nobody's been up to much as yet...

the window has been open for 10 days.. i'm chuffed at the signings we have made so far. the bigger ones always drag out longer these days due to the enormous amounts of money involved.

completely agree, we are actually adding players to the team and showing an attempt to bolster the squad as I said earlier.
