tomorrows daily mail says yobo sold for 3m...is this true?

Shame on you reading the Daily Mail.
Who knows though, it might be true.

As a matter of interest, given that it's Saturdays paper you're talking about, do you have a link for that ?

just followed link off twitter....@Everton_news
plus chico just posted interview with Moyes which says he's gone to fenerbache for 2m!!!

The words "Chico just posted" and truth don't normally go together, but seeing it's come from the Guardian and I'm a tree-hugger then I'm inclined to believe it.

Fair play to you lad.

good luck to the lid anyway. he served us well. can't be arsed with the money side anymore. fed up with it all. I'd have settled for a programme, a pie n a pint at half time and a bag of chips on the way home.

Guardian claims was sold for 2 million on Friday.

Would that even buy a Championship defender these days?

Bye bye, Joe. You were boss for ages especially in the 7th place season. Shame you gifted Rooney that goal though.

Good luck, fella.

Yeah, Moyes' first signing, occasionally boss on FM (at least up to 2009) and a captain's type influence in later times. Thankful for his serviced, miffed about the price, but what-everrrrrr. We knew they were gonna strain us till the deadline came too close and our money went dwindling.

Now, the Yak sale is the big, big question mark this window. Will he leave? And if he doesn't, will we play him?

I can't see Moyes would have played Yobo or Yakubu, unless it was an absolute emergency. Any money gained through fees and wages is good business under current circumstances. Glad it seems one of them has finally left at least. You never know, the saving on wages might mean we buy a player next summer ;)
