I remember watching him against Arsenal at the Emirates and he was superb – he can really play. He looks like a big lummox, yeah, but his touch and passing are as impressive as build. Give me him over Jagielka any day.

Thinking about it, he's like Scott Dann when he had that good season, but a better footballer.

I just don't think we're after him. It's all media generated. He may be like 10th on our list I suppose. I genuinely don't know who we'll buy for that centre back spot though. All I know is that there's nobody in the prem i'd want us to sign.
