Agreed. Met him after a gig in '90 and he was the nicest bloke you'd ever meet. Just stood there and chatted for about an hour with a few others. No pretensions. Fantastic live performer as well. Funny, smart, and a really gifted songwriter (although his last few efforts haven't been my favorites).

Very fond memories of listening to Bragg and going to shows in the 80's and early 90's.

I've got 'em all. His out put from "Life's A Riot With Spy vs Spy" all the way through "Don't Try This At Home" was just sensational. Very few people can do political songwriting well and then turn around a write a love song that brings tears to your eyes.
