Rooney for me, intelligence, workrate, skill, everything you need from a 'fat, over-the-hill, Utd reject' :)
My MOM too. Happy to admit I was wrong about him. I was never questioning his quality, but rather his fitness and desire. Showed so far still has all 3 in abundance. If he carries on this form I can see him being in the running for premiership player of the year. Massive ask at his age though.

Joey, do I detect a slight thawing in your hitherto frosty opinion of Cuco?
Because I consider you to have a sensible head on your shoulders, Joey, I suspected you might come around.
OK game no worse than anyone in defence never got forward much - then neither did we get forwards that much a hard ground to go to!
Thank god for that sig wonder goal!

Thought Keane was very good defensively and his through ball to put Rooney in was a peach. I like this boy a lot. Also I thought Gylfi showed what we have been missing for a while now, a player with true quality in his peak years.

I know I'm old-school but I like defenders to be able to defend and Martina is like a spinning kid's toy when they have possession, I can see Martina has a wing-back but he's an awful defender.

We're likely to get one very good team, but there's likely to be at least one gash side too. No reason we can't get out the group. We always seem to perform better in one off games too. 2 leg ties seem to make us nervous.
C'mon mate. We had by far the hardest group last time out and won that at a canter. We played the kids in our final game knowing the group was already in the bag.

There's nobody in groups 3 and 4 to be overly worried about and only 3 or 4 in the top group that I'd particularly want to avoid. In fact, I'd put money on those same teams looking to avoid us.
