One has to wonder whether this is more about City deciding to back the player (worth millions) rather than the manager (not worth millions) - after all, what was said after the incident by both parties was fairly conclusive, and refusing to warm up is surely effectively the same as refusing to warm up in order to be brought on as a sub.

Great interview with Roy Keane on radio 5 with colin murray before by the way if you can be arsed finding it. He told him Noel Gallagher was a big fan, Roy replied he'd wrote a couple of decent tunes but knew nothing about football. In jest I think though. I love listening to Keane in interviews, hope he stays in the game.
