We've missed the boat to offload him now. Think he's got two years left on 100k a week while offering us nothing at all in return. Nobody will pay him that wage, and he'll only get slower and less effective as time goes on. Such a bad signing in hindsight. Maybe there is one sucker of a team out there willing to take him, but I'd severely doubt it. Another massive earner not working for his wage and stuck with us for years on end.

This is the bit I don't get, they all watch the matches back... but he kept getting games, and then given the captains arm band to give him the extra layer of protection from being subbed?
