He just is not needed, but there is no way out for him so we are stuck with this £50m weight round our necks. It's not his fault but he does not fit in with us at all.
You would build a team around him? He is no doubt a good player, but just does not fit through no fault of his own.As our top scorer last year, our record signing and a player who has consistently proven to be amongst the most consistent 10’s in the league over a long time (and one of the best set piece takers) isn’t it odd that we’re not building a system around him?
He’s certainly a quality player. And the current system, with or without him, isn’t exactly thriving. Perhaps, just perhaps, it’s not Siggy that’s the problem.

I like him but I find him harder and harder to defend. Yes he's been one of our highest scorers but usually is our most advanced player and takes most of our set pieces and pens. Compared with most number 10s he does very little to link midfield and attack, and does very little defensively. Just feel there are better options I'm afraid. As our top scorer last year, our record signing and a player who has consistently proven to be amongst the most consistent 10’s in the league over a long time (and one of the best set piece takers) isn’t it odd that we’re not building a system around him?

Nah I disagree with that as a general point. Richy goal vs Brighton, Sig goal v Utd, Richy goal vs Burnley are just three examples off the top of my head where he's been dynamic and created a chance with a quick pass or run. The Utd goal for example is a counter attack with Gueye which apparently he never does.Apart from the odd wonder goal, he slows us down massively.

Or DCL another pathetic tactical blunder by Silva ...... kean should have come on too as well as DCL later or the other way round what was the Delph substitution all about? Not sure why he came on. Should have brought Kean on and put Richarlison on the wing.
