Everton boss David Moyes is plotting a surprise move for Nottingham Forest's midfield enforcer Guy Moussi.

Moyes is ready to pinch Moussi on a free transfer when his contract expires at the end of this season.

The French star, 26, has not yet been offered a new deal as Forest have put negotiations on hold until they know what division they will be operating in next season.

Beckford, Saha, Gueye, Yakubu (although very questionable), Vaughan (if he returns), Vellios, Anichebe, Joao Silva... Sure, strikers, we don't have any. Even Cahill can play there ffs.

Moussi is a defensive midfielder, and if (and that's a big if) we sell Fellaini or Rodwell he could fill in, i guess. I'd very much like this to NOT happen though.

beckford = 10 goal a year me thinks
saha = injury nightmare dont think he will play half of next season
gueye= unproven even a winger?
yakubu = wants out as we all know
vaughen =looks more like a championship striker by the week
vellios= am acutually hopeful here
anichebe= hopeless
joao silva= avarage youth for what ive heard not seen tbf
