Guide to Goodison?

The Upper Bullens and the Upper Gwladys are great if you're sitting in one of the seats that have been occupied by the same season ticket holder for the past 25 years.

But when you buy a ticket for a particular match day, you often end up towards the back, and the difference in quality is massive.

Park End 5, almost always on the telly and MOTD, great view of play and class banter with the away fans! Oh and if your close to the front like me, you can always give the other teams goalkeeper a hell of a lot of ****! Steve harper got a terrible time from us lot haha... Next up pepe reina!

I always sit in Park End 4. Belter seats. Appeared on MOTD a few times, however, the last time i found myself on there was for the Newcastle game last season, on the final day haha.

Stanley Park for parking £8 - top balcony for best view in the ground if your ok with heights :) lower Gladys is best atmos but generally needs a big game for a proper noise and family 3 for shouting substitution tactics at the ginger one

My experience of the lower G....has been disappointing of late...Most recent was V Southampton and thought the athe atmosphere was pretty dull.....But hey that may be just me...

Carparks around Priory road seem to charge £10 all day.....when I say carparks I mean waste ground with scallys collecting the money

Southampton game was awkwardly silent. Apart from the result the only other good thing that day was the sunshine leading to a bit of a tan. Oh and me having a fiver on 3-1 although only bloody 10-1. Goes to show that bookies know we're going to do something fantastic this season. How nice would it be to actually go on the ryanair website instead of virgin trains for an away match next season. If only.

Never understand why people drive to the game. Unless you're one of the first cars to park there you'll have about an hour wait after the game to get out.

And mersey rail is pretty good at running regular trains from kirkdale.

I normally drive and park not far from Kirkdale station.

Costs me the £3 tunnel, £1 for the mind your cars and of course petrol, but I normally go with my mate, so he pays the tunnel and scallys.

If I got the train, it would mean a walk or taxi to the station, a ticket to Kirkdale, which would require a change of train, a walk from Kirkdale and then the same again back.

Its just easier and cheaper.

Im planning on heading down to the game v Arsenal with a few mates, wondering where is the best place to park and also the bestplace to sit in the ground?

Cheers in advance.

Lower Gladdy mate. Few pints before hand, get right amongst it.

If your looking for atmosphere definately don't sit in Top Balcony. Love the view tbf but the atmosphere is shocking.

Atmosphere is mostly **** anyway, might be alright for Arsenal though. I like an overview of the pitch tbh so Upper Bullens/ Top Balcony are good. Higher up in the Glawdys or Park end are alright as well like, hate being too far forward and not being able to properly see what's going on at the other end.
