The council's response ? (the design is) more sustainable and appropriate for digital use, as well as being more compact and requiring less space around it.
In other words they removed a dot.

Royal Mail (The delivery part) did that around 2001 and changed their name to 'consignia' at a cost of something like £2m IIRC. They were haemorrhaging money at the time.

Led to my contact not being renewed. Then they changed it back to Royal Mail (at further cost IIRR)

How DO these divs get these top-jolly positions?
